Cubs Sale
The sale of one of the most historic teams in all of baseball seems to be in the last stages. Sources say the Cubs, who have been on sale for over 2 years, have selected Tom Ricketts, whos family owns TD Ameritrade, to purchase the team. Ricketts will shell out $900,000,000 for the team, Wrigley Field, and a 25% stake in Comcast Sportsnet, a cable channel that hosts 33% of Cubs games.
